Taylor Sampson, a Bmx racer, age 8 from Tiverton will be travelling to Rotterdam this weekend to represent Great Britain at the 2014 BMX World Championships. Taylor who started riding at 4 years old will compete in the 9 year old male category having qualifying through the British Cycling ranking system in 2013. Taylor, a pupil at Wilcombe Primary School is a member of Tiverton BMX club and rides for local South West team 'BMX Revolution'. Taylor races both regionally and nationally and is supported in his BMX pursuits by the Tiverton Recreational Trust.
