The Tiverton Recreational Trust, that’s who!
When the Exe Valley Leisure Centre was built in Tiverton, the Council had to purchase the land, on which the old pool stood, from what is now the Tiverton Recreational Trust. The Trustees use the interest from that money to provide annual grants, for equipment, kit or travelling expenses, to committed individuals who seek to go further in their sport or recreational pursuit.
So whatever your age, if you live in the old Tiverton Borough, roughly Post Hill to Bickleigh to Withleigh to Cove, and you are striving to improve in your field, whether swimming, dance or snooker, the Tiverton Recreational Trust would be pleased to hear from you.
