Grant Making Policy

Beneficiary Status

The Trust will consider applications for grants from Individuals.

Any grants provided must benefit local people and facilities residing within the defined geographical area of the trust.

This Geographic Area is the Former Borough of Tiverton. This is roughly defined as inside a line drawn from Post Hill to Bickleigh, to Withleigh, to Cove, and to Post Hill.

Purpose of the Grant For Individuals

Costs associated with the purchase of kit/equipment, enrolment fees, event fees, travelling, training etc. These purchases are examples and not an exhaustive list of items considered for support.

In all cases a proforma application must be received with supporting evidence of anticipated costs.

Size of Grants

Any grants will not normally be less than £50 or greater than £200

Where more than one application is received from the same household, the Trustees may limit the total funds awarded to that household and may require additional evidence.

Repeat applications, on an annual basis, will be considered but first time applicants will be given priority.
