Happy 10th Birthday TRT !!!!

The Tiverton Recreational Trust is ten years old in 2018.

However there will be no balloons, cakes or candles. We are busy making sure that every penny goes towards helping members of our Tiverton community. This year the Trust will once again be making grants available to committed individuals who seek to go further in their sport or recreational pursuits. 

These grants are usually from £50 to £200 and provided to individuals for equipment, kit, training and travelling expenses. Applicants must live within the old Tiverton Borough boundary.

In the past, the TRT has given grants for such as swimming, dance, drumming, bowls, football, cricket, hockey, triathlon, athletics, shooting, BMX, snooker, pentathlon, weightlifting, gymnastics and motocross to ages ranging from 7 to over 50. 

We have supported those who have trained with Football League Clubs, produced World Records, represented their County, become professional dancers and been members of England and Olympic Squads. 

We have also supported those who really enjoyed what they were doing and played their part in promoting our community.
